Advertising Standards

1. Content Guidelines

  • Truthfulness and Honesty: Advertisements must not be deceptive or misleading. Claims in ads must be substantiated, and products or services promoted in advertisements must be represented accurately.
  • Legal Compliance: Advertisements must comply with all applicable laws, including regulations concerning consumer protection, competition, privacy, and intellectual property rights.
  • Targeted Content: Advertisements must not target children under the age of 13, and must not exploit vulnerable audiences. Products and services advertised must be appropriate for the intended audience.

2. Prohibited Content

  • Hate Speech and Discrimination: No advertisements may promote hate speech, discrimination, or derogatory content based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
  • Dangerous Products: Advertising of weapons, explosives, and harmful substances is strictly prohibited.
  • Illegal Activities: No advertisement may promote illegal activities, illegal drugs, or any form of illegal behavior.
  • Political Sensitivity: We are not promoting political ads.

3. Placement and Scheduling

  • Advertisements must not interfere with the user experience through intrusive or excessively repetitive displays.
  • Ad placement must be contextually appropriate, ensuring that the content of the ad does not conflict with the interests of the page or audience it is displayed.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Advertisements must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Advertisers must have the appropriate rights and permissions for all content used within their ads.

5. Submission and Approval Process

  • All advertisements must be submitted for review at least 5 business days prior to the desired start date of the ad run.
  • Advertisements will undergo a review process to ensure compliance with these guidelines. Approval of submissions is at the discretion of our review team.

6. Right to Modify or Reject

  • We reserve the right to modify, reject, or remove any advertisement that fails to meet these standards and guidelines at any time without prior notice.

7. Responsibility of Advertisers

  • Advertisers are responsible for ensuring their advertisements comply with these guidelines and all applicable laws. Advertisers may be held liable for any legal issues arising from their advertisements.
